Hybrid utes retain the same fundamental hardware as traditional 4x4 utes, so they are designed for off-road use. The ladder-me chassis, low-range transfer cases, rear differential locks, traction control systems, and appropriate ground clearance all still exist. Hybrid technology does not replafrace these systems.

It depends on the hybrid system. FOTON’s diesel mild-hybrid utes do not plug in; their electrical assistance system recovers energy while driving. A plug-in hybrid ute can be charged externally and has different electric-driving capabilities.
Are Hybrid Utes Suitable For Towing?
Towing suitability depends on the vehicle’s approved limits and your loaded trailer. Check braked towing capacity, payload, gross vehicle mass and gross combination mass together, including passengers, accessories and towball load. Confirm the required towing equipment with your retailer.
