FOTON NEW TRUCK WARRANTY

When you purchase a FOTON truck, you’re backed by confidence from day one.

At FOTON, we provide a 6-year/250,000-kilometre New Truck Warranty* (whichever occurs first), giving you long-term peace of mind on the road.

This warranty is honoured by all authorised FOTON dealerships across Australia, so wherever your work takes you, support is never far away.

Under the FOTON New Vehicle Warranty, any part found to be defective in factory materials or workmanship within the stated warranty period will be repaired, replaced, or adjusted, free of charge, by an authorised FOTON retailer.

If you have misplaced or damaged your warranty or service handbook, simply contact your local FOTON Service Centre to order a replacement.

The Genuine FOTON Parts and Accessories Warranty applies in addition to the guarantees, right and remedies conferred by the Australian Consumer Law and other applicable Commonwealth State and Territory Legislation.

The Genuine FOTON Parts and Accessories Warranty does not exclude, affect or limit those guarantees, right or remedies, except to the extent that their application may lawfully be excluded or limited.

In particular, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonable foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

 *Warranty coverage does not cover consumables (e.g. oils and fluids) or items of a fair wear and tear nature (e.g. wiper blades) unless they are defective in manufacture. Warranty over covered items is subject to compliance with FOTON instructions and operation and maintenance requirements relating to those items. See your trucks Warranty and Service Handbook for full terms, conditions, and exclusions. The Warranty does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
** Standard parts and accessories refers to non-optional components that are standard to the specific model variant. Optional genuine parts and accessories refers to optional components that do not come standard with the specific model variant.
